YWAM - TORCH

Director: Sandra Merriman

ToRCH Base has at its heart a desire to work with the poor communities to help them develop Physically, Spiritually, Socially and Emotionally. We feel a particular call to work with women and children and those affected with HIV/AIDS. We likewise want to see the local church encouraged and equiped to work for community development. We run a variety of activities to help us achieve this. In addition, we feel strongly to make prayer for the community and for our activities central to everything we do, recognising GOD as the one who brings true development and transformation.

ToRCH is comprised of:

  •  Kangulumira Integrated Health Programme(KIHP),
  •  Child Education Sponsorship (CES)
  • Kings KIds International-Uganda
  • Ang-Tulay (MInistry to Children in Trauma
