Arua Base is called to be a bridge of GOD'S healing to the people of West Nile, Kitgum, Lira, Southern Sudan, and North East DR Congo by rebuilding broken lives, restoring hope and equipping the church for discipleship.

YWAM Arua seeks to develop and support new YWAM bases in locations such as

  • South Sudan
  • Kitgum - in Northern Uganda
  • Lira
  • D.R. Congo
  • And Central African Republic

Arua Base Ministries

  • Equipping disadvantaged youth and others from the local community with Vocational Skills such as Tailoring, Baking and Mechanics.
  • Church mobilisation for Missions
  • Refugee Ministry
  • Discipleship Training School
  • Deaf Hearing United
  • Prison Ministry
  • Explorers
  • And Hospital Ministry

Staff Opportunities

 

We are in need of the following staff -

 

  • Worship Leader - someone to organize the worship team and share in leading corporate worship, day of prayer and other worship ministry
  • Administration - people who have a heart for the financial, fundraising and base organization aspects of the YWAM life here.

  • Agriculture - people with a heart for sustainable agriculture, natural farming techniques and training, teaching and empowering the indigenous people in agriculture

  • DTS/GoCamp Staff - Staff for Trailblazers DTS & GoCamp

  • Children's Ministry - people with a heart for children to minister in our after school reading program and other local children's ministry

  • Counselling - someone that has a heart to counsel people who have suffered  trauma, both staff and non-staff

  • Refugee Ministry - people who have a heart for those who have been forced from their homeland. Willing to work on a weekly basis in the Rhino Refugee Camp that is near our base.
