Discovery Centre

Immaculate - Discovery Centre Leader - and Godfrey .

The Discovery Centre is a partnership between YWAM Uganda and the U.K. registered charity Adventure Projects Trust.

Discovery Centre  was established in 1994 as a response to the dire situation in regard to AIDS at the time, providing AIDS prevention education to young people through the medium of sports and recreational activities.

Since that time its activities have greatly expanded. Much work is still done with local youth, providing sports facilities, training, mentoring, teaching life skills and supporting Scripture Union groups in schools.

Discovery Centre aims to see the release of potential, particularly of young people, in respect to their physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.
